About Jenny
Jenny Glover runs the Pilates Centre and Sports Injury Clinic in Weymouth and 'Weymouth Osteopathy - Avanti Therapy' '. She discovered Pilates through her training as a ballerina at 'The Legat School of Russian Ballet' under the Vaganova method and won a scholarship to London Studio Centre. She was presented 'The Tom Merrifield' award, by Wayne Sleep and later awarded a scholarship to study and teach 'Body Control Pilates' at Pilates International Ltd in London in 1984, under Heather Sampson and was featured in the 'You' Sunday Magazine. Jenny furthered her training under Alan Herdman (Pilates Guru). Jenny was one of the first instructors qualified to teach Pilates in the UK and was the first in Dorset to offer group and 1-1 reformer classes.
She has worked with local sailors, windsurfers, Olympic and Paralympic champions as well as local sports men and women of all ages and abilities, to include 2012 sailing Gold medalist Lijia Xu, paraolympian Steve Thomas and world champion windsurfer Lucy Sallows (nee Horwood).
