Mercury Dance Academy Ltd opened its doors in 1999 and offers the very best tuition in Ballet, Tap. Modern, and Acobatic Dance along with Drama Workshops, Tiny Tots Music & Movement Adult Dance Classes and Fun Dance Sessions. 

The Principle and teaching staff at Mercury are qualified professionals who work hard to not only deliver the highest quality training but to also ensure that classes take place in an atmosphere of positivity where students are encouraged to reach their full potential and to grow in dance ability and self confidence.

Where applicable, classes follow the syllabuses of nationally recognised  organisations and students can be entered for yearly examinations.

In addition to classwork, students are eligible to participate in the Academy's bi-annual show at Weymouth Pavillion and they can also apply to join 'Simply Dance' which is the dance company of MDA and have the opportunity to take part in a programme of external shows and displays.

Many students also enter various dance festivals and competitions both locally and nationally. Private coaching for both grade and festival work is available
